The 1821-inspired collection of the lifestyle brand Zeus + Dione was hosted at the Benaki Museum Piraeus Shop, as part of the flagship exhibition "1821 Before and After".

The anniversary of the 200th anniversary of the Greek struggle for independence was the occasion for a celebratory connection between Zeus + Δione and the Benaki Museum family. A historical museum and a fashion house that share a passion for Greek heritage and values that resist time, techniques and craftsmanship, are coming together for the first time to celebrate tradition with an eye to the future.

The collection exhibited at the Piraeus Store expresses exactly this approach to fashion, as the brand "remembers" a moment in modern Greek history, honoring sartorial elements of Greekness but interpreted through the cosmopolitan aesthetic of Zeus' new artistic director, Marios Schwab.

The Flexible Mannequins used for this projection were custom made to fit Zeus + Δione's straws as footwear.
